Talk-based mental health care.
Psychotherapy is offered at our Newmarket location by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practising under clinical supervision.
What this service is, in plain terms.
Psychotherapy is a regulated mental health service in Ontario. Our clinician is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) — a designation for practitioners in the final stage of supervised practice before full registration.
Sessions are private, confidential and consent-based. Your therapist will work with you to understand your goals and agree on an approach to care.
A typical first visit.
First sessions focus on building a clear picture of what brings you to therapy and what you hope to work on. The approach to care is collaborative — you choose the pace, the focus and the length of your engagement with therapy.
