Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy for real recovery.

Assessment and treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal concerns delivered by physiotherapists registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

About this service

What this service is, in plain terms.

Physiotherapy at Grice covers assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription and rehabilitation after injury or surgery. Our physiotherapists work closely with our chiropractors and massage therapists when a shared plan of care makes sense for the patient.

We see patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation cases, motor vehicle accident injuries and long-standing musculoskeletal concerns. Treatment plans are evidence-informed and progress is measured objectively at each visit.

What to expect

A typical first visit.

Your first physiotherapy appointment includes a full clinical history, a functional assessment, and an initial treatment where appropriate. You will leave with a clear understanding of your diagnosis, your plan of care, and any exercises to begin at home.

Follow-up visit frequency depends on the nature of the problem. Acute injuries often require more frequent early visits; chronic concerns typically progress with a slower, sustained plan.
