Chiropractic, the original service.
Manual adjustments, mobilization and soft-tissue therapy delivered by Doctors of Chiropractic registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
What this service is, in plain terms.
Chiropractic is a regulated health profession in Ontario focused on the assessment and manual treatment of the spine, joints and related soft tissues. Our chiropractors use manual adjustments, joint mobilization, soft-tissue therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, low-level laser therapy and interferential current as clinical judgement directs.
Several members of our team are certified in Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP), an evidence-based approach to postural correction and spinal alignment. Others focus on sports injury management, pre- and post-natal care within chiropractic scope, and rehabilitation after motor vehicle accidents.
A typical first visit.
Your first chiropractic visit begins with a detailed history and physical examination. Where clinically indicated, your chiropractor may order on-site digital X-rays or review imaging from other providers. When the assessment is complete, findings and recommendations are discussed with you before any treatment begins.
Care typically follows a three-phase framework: relief, correction and long-term wellness. The length and frequency of care depends entirely on your individual case, and you remain in control of the decisions at every step.
